Forest Craver, Juris Doctor

Forrest Craver is an award winning nonprofit fund raising consultant and copy writer for national and international nonprofits. Over the last 40 years, he has enrolled more than 22 million citizens as members in progressive social justice causes and raised more than $200 million for social change movements,with special focus on human rights, civil liberties, women’s rights, and environmental causes. He also did creative work for the Calvert Social Investment Fund.

He provided film script content and script strategy to more than a dozen non profits including Amnesty International, Christian Children’s Fund, Greenpeace, the Sierra Club, the Nuclear Weapons Freeze Campaign, NAACP, NOW, the National Women’s Health Network, Church World Service and the Center for Victims of Torture.

His script for the Democratic National Committee’s film “Forget Not Old Friends” was used with great impact in a nationwide campaign to save Social Security during the Reagan era. His creative positioning and fundraising copy for the Sundance Institute was effective in raising funds at a critical time in the history of the Institute.
